IRC Server down

For people who don't read the news, the IRC server is under a ddos attack, and we're using http://www.mtaservers.com/chat/index.php instead for the moment. See news thread @ http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=8551 and join us on that page.

Update: We have moved to irc://irc.gamesurge.net/multitheftauto until we resolve this matter.

its a similar mentality to something like vandelism i think... i dont get the reasons behind it but its some sort of repressed need to get some attention. They want to piss ppl off so they get noticed i guess... at least thats the only thing i get from it

The thing is, no-one is noticing (them), and they're just slowing down our development. Its like a terrorist attack, where no-one claims to have done it, they're not going to promote their cause. But in the end, these people don't have a cause, they're just bored script kiddies.
