Guest
blank to all the team of MTA. I am an Italian, and I am using a translator. I have made from little a situated Italian on MTA, and I ask the permission to create it. Therefore I ask the MTA team, kindly: I can create a situated Italian on MTA? thanks to all. Italian salve a tutto il team di MTA. Sono un italiano, e sto usando un traduttore. Ho fatto da poco un sito italiano su MTA, e vorrei chiedere l'autorizzazzione per crearlo. Quindi chiedo al team di MTA, gentilmente: Posso creare un sito italiano su MTA? grazie a tutti. Link to comment
orappa
Erm... are you saying that you're planning to make a mod for MTA and you want permission? Or something? Edit: Does "situated Italian" mean an Italian version of the client? Maybe? Link to comment

Si|ent
Thats fine, providing you mention it is a translation of material from mtavc.com. Perhaps you would also be interested in translating the mta manual and the sbs? Im not sure if we have italian versions of those yet. Link to comment
orappa
Oh, I see. I remember Blokker saying ages ago that there was to be multiple languages for the site but I never heard any more about that. Anyone know what happened? Link to comment
Guardians Proper
Hmm... This is interesting. Soon we'll have Germans, Russians, French, etc, making their own language versions of the website. Link to comment

OpiuM.
making a italian MTA version would not be difficult, just change some words, and translate some .gxt lines, simple, maybe he could make a italian version? Link to comment
Guardians Proper
Yeah, but then the people ingame don't speak Italian. Unless, of course, you're on an Italian server... Link to comment
SM xenex
What this guy wants to do is make a site in his language that will be a excact translation of this one but in italian , he doesnt want to make a mod nor a italian client, when he says : " to create a site Italian on client of MTA " he means , he wants to makne a translated site for the program mta . And about the manual, i think he doesnt want to do that part but knows someone that will, or he might do it eventually. Link to comment
Guardians Proper
A translated website is easy. Babelfish can make links so that you can simply click "Italian" on the website, and then the entire website refreshes and is in Italian. Link to comment
SM xenex
We all know that webtranslators suck, i dont think this guuys intends to do that.Anyways lets not go into how easy it is. This guy has offered and ask for permision , lets just be happy. Link to comment

orappa
It'd be funny if Auron made his site and never gave props to the MTA devs and claimed that MTA was his creation... Yeah, that's true. I mean, how would we know? Link to comment
Guardians Proper
Simple. He's using a translator; if we just translated the site to English we would see "I made this MTA by myself, thank you." Link to comment

Guardians Proper
He was using a translator earlier to type in English, so he's going to be doing the same for the MTA site (English Italian) and if we run it vice-versa on his website (Italian English) it should come out acceptable, or at least understandable... Oh, well surely the MTA team could run it through a translator with the same result then? Link to comment
Guardians Proper
I've tested it with Spanish. If you run an English sentence through a translator into Spanish, then turn that Spanish sentence back into English; it is slightly mangled. Link to comment
