Guest
Hey I hear this is a problem that everyone's /had/ but i've still got it. I can see the chat and I can log in fine but nobody's visible. I'm using a GTA:VC v1.0 exe but i've also used a supposedly compatible v1.1 exe. I've logged on to v0.3 servers with the v0.3r2 client and I get the problem if I use a local server or a remote server. I've even got it on my brothers PC and it doesn't work there either. Does anyone know a fix? Thanks, JB Link to comment
Ransom
Not a very good title to indicate your problem You mean invisible characters or the radar icons? p.s. try support forum Link to comment
Guest
Hey Yeah, the title expresses it quite well, I can get in and the game loads but there are no people whatsoever either on the radar or in the 3D world. I don't really want to try the support forum as I bet no one actually looks there they're too busy talking about how great the gameplay is seen as they've got it working Thanks JB Link to comment
dystopia
I've seen a bunch of people bringing this back up...but I can't seem to find a common link...perhaps it's new hardware or new driver issue or something :\ ::can't think of much more:: Link to comment
Guest
Hey, Thing is it can't be a driver or hardware fault because my brothers PC is a completely different spec to mine. I think it must be something to do with the build of the gta-vc executable, if anyone kept a version of the exec that apparently worked somewhere on the web then I could try it with that otherwise i'm stuck like every other poor shmuck who can't run what is claimed to be and what I expect to be a great mod :'-( Thanks all the same, JB Link to comment

Oh and like MrBump said it's not gonna work on ME or 98 OSs if you use XP don't sit there with your thumb up your arse get it fixed http://support.mtavc.com/forum/ Link to comment
Guest
Hey, I'm running on WinXP and Win2K neither of which work. I've checked the support forums and the only post that relates to my problem hasn't been answered or they think it's been solved by the r2 patch. JB Link to comment
orappa
I can see why he doesn't use the support forum: The developers and the support team will check the forums on a regular basis and will post solutions from the moment they are found. The SF will be heavily moderated and spam will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, Blokker seems to be the only person who regularly posts there. Link to comment
Si|ent
Well that was posted without actually checking with us all that we wanted to / had time / were going to. I for one don't one of the above. I'll let you decide which ;P Link to comment
ijsf
If you're using an australian GTA:VC version... the australian version isnt really working with MTA, you should try to update the exe file somehow. You might wanna try to update your GTA:VC game (exe) as well, it may help. Link to comment
