Fatality[NL] Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Is there any limit for items/objects/vehicles in a map? I have the feeling that when I add something new, the editor chooses one of the last 20 items that already exists and overwrites it..
Nasar(TheGame) Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 There is no limit for items or object of vehicles
Fatality[NL] Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 I wonder what happened then, I removed 1 object, placed 1 object and 4 vehicles, removed 8 more objects, placed 3 more vehicles, exited editor, and started map 3 of the removed objects still showed up, 5 out of 7 vehicles spawned. when I restarted the map(refreshall + restart map commands), some different removed objects still showed up, and only 2 vehicle's. when I moved them to another .map-file, everything was as it should be.
-Bane- Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 it is a bug. what version of the mta map editor are you using?
Fatality[NL] Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 might be a stupid question, but where can I find the version number? It's not in the scripts(editor.zip), neither admin shows the version(version: unknown) It's the one downloaded here: http://linux.multitheftauto.com/, then the link "resource files", it leads to a page saying "mtasa-resources-r988.zip" https://mirror.multitheftauto.com/mtasa/resources/ I am unable to find more then this.. sorry
Nasar(TheGame) Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 You using the right version have you try to restart mta or re-install it? There are some objects you can't remove them by map editor can you take ss for what happens for you?
-Bane- Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Try to unistall Gtasa, mta sa. And re-install both. Backup gta3.img if you want to keep Your mods
x96 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Are you sure that when you placed cars, did you press the 'save' button?
-Bane- Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Are you sure that when you placed cars, did you press the 'save' button? it should load the on-exit backup.
Tails Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 There is a limit for the amount of objects shown at once on your screen, but no limit I know of for the entire world.
Mr.ShariQ Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Try to replace your "[Editor]" file at Resources. get from your friend or send me request at skype, I had same problem. skype: shariqahmed18
Arnold-1 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 this can happen because the editor would take you to another dimension, are you sure you're not using Basic test to spawn cars from admin panel? anyways, i don't think there is a limit, in one of my maps i reached 3000 objects, still recording new ones.
