orappa Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I was told that in Standard Form all positive thingies (e.g. 1x10^3) were capitalised and all negative er... things (e.g. 1x10^-3) were lowercase (Sorry, I can't remember what they're called).
