If you don't need the sound recorded at the same time, Fraps 1.9D is free, and can record video just as well as the newest version.

I use Fraps 1.9A and everything seems to be fine. It doesnt say "Demo" on the sides or "www.Fraps.com" at the top. The only problem is, it doesnt record sound. But it it's for movie perposes, do you really need sound?

there are LOTS of other programs to capture video . But fraps is the best one for games . The other ones are good to capture like , your windows stuff like int ernet explorer and the actual explorer.
