Moderators IIYAMA Posted March 16, 2013 Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 Hey I am making my own gamemode, but my images are getting ugly. I made them with illustrator to png. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2281/m ... 172454.png Is this normal that it looks like this? Anderl Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 You can't use transparent AFAIK. Also, you should use pictures with size that is power of 2 (128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 256x128, 512x256, 512x128, 128x1024, etc.). Moderators IIYAMA Posted March 16, 2013 Author Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 transparent is possible power of 2? Is that a standard size? Anderl Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 What do you mean by "is that a standard size?"? "[...] If you don’t love it, if you’re not having fun doing it, you don’t really love it, you’re going to give up." - Steve Jobs, 2007
Moderators IIYAMA Posted March 16, 2013 Author Moderators Posted March 16, 2013 Well my image in Illustrator was: 200 x 50 After convert to png it changed to: 194 X 51 because all the white was gone. So the image must be: eagle x eagle or double x single to get the best performance quality? Do you want to improve your Lua programming skills and make less mistakes? Start with Lua Language Server! Anderl Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Quality, not performance The size of the image simply should be a power of two to stop possible blurring from occurring, as said in the wiki.
