Seth Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 What the hell? I tried to join the official Mta server a while ago, and it said something about me being banned?!?! I logged off my comp at about 5:30 am...and was still able to play then. Can somebody tell me what I did?

I remember some guy saying I was cheating or something because I killed him and that bug happens where they think they are hitting you but they aren't happens, making it appear I had a sort of God Mode. I fidn it awkward though for me to be killed right before I was banned by another player though, this player wielding a Gatling Gun =/
dystopia Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 Seth, this happens for various reasons, first the topic of proxies. If you already know this info, it's just fyi in case, but basically a lot of people have dynamic ips, say 1.2.*.* so the mods will ban that range, and a lot of times it will block a whole bunch of people who don't most likely play mta along with the offender. As for the punching thing, it's due to packet loss on one of the sides. So yeah, hunt down a an admin as said earlier and explain your case. GL
