Rob is correct that compatibility mode is a Windows XP feature, but it is also a Windows 2000 feature unless you are missing something (as you would if the install was a minimal one or something). You can download a compatibility toolkit from Microsoft that will give you the missing components here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/6/f/a6f42077-eae3-4d4c-8df6-7ac402594127/act30pkg.exe I'm not sure off the top of my head what components you need to select during the install to make sure you get compatibility mode, but I do know that I've had it install with and without. edit: You need to be at service pack 3 to use that toolkit FYI.
