Guest Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 This is the error report that i receive, every time i try to open MTAVC I just finished installing vice city again, no modded files. Whats the deal? Thanks
Dgtadude Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 go to the windows folder on your hard drive and find the file called "MTA" and delete it. Next time you open the MTA client it will ask you were is the gta-vc.exe located . Then you just tell the client were it is and it should work . IF it doesnt Delete MTA and install it again

True Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Make sure the "mta.scm" and "mtas.scm" are in your GTAVC\Data folder. If not, download the ZIP of MTA:VC, and copy those two files there.
fuku Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 did you delete the Rockstar folder after uninstalling? idk if that would be a problem, but maybe some files from before were still remaining in the folder? also, is yours patched to 1.1? cause that causes problems I heard. lastly, did you check the rite version in the mta server? 1.0 vs 1.1? cause i remember when i first tried i didnt notice that, totally nOObism on my part
