SM Chaoswolf Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 I dont know if its possible but here is an alternative, I use a Logitec Wingman Gamepad and its almost the same style and feel as a PS2 controller. It should be very easy for you to get use to it. :!:WE WANT A BLAST SECTION:!: GTA:VC World Height Jump Record holder at 156ft
Kent747 Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 if you poke around online you can find devices that will adapt a playstation controller for USB... Haven't tried it because I wouldnt be caught dead w/ a console Though I have used the N64 - USB adaptor (adaptoid) and it works wonderfully. True Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 I play with a person who, I believe, uses a PS2 controller without an issue. If it works in single-player, it should work fine in MTA. ...to all those who have doubted me...come see me now... Outback Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 I use a DualShock2 through a USB adapter, which are readily available from http://www.levelsix.com It's great for driving, flying, etc., but when on foot, nothing beats a keyboard/mouse.

crUshed420 Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 dUde, once you get used to the keyboard/mouse combo, you'll RARELY want to go back to using controllers... especially for first/third person shooters! I remember playing GTA3 on the PS2 before it came to the PC, and I was so frustrated by the control system. After many hours of playing, i finally got used to it, but 10 minutes after playing the PC version I was already better at controlling gameplay. Aiming with the mouse is just so much easier than fumbling with thumbsticks. But yes, as everyone above me has mentioned, there are NUMEROUS solutions out there for those who simply can't give up their controller... but you won't need them!!
