Objects disappear at a certain place

Hello guys,

Sorry for not introducing myself first (will do that later if needed :P)

But as a beginning mapper I stumbled upon the following problem, to fill up things (some objects can't be made solid).

Filling up goes well at most places but at this specific place it just doesn't work.

After saving and reloading the map the placed objects disappeared.

I almost tried everything but I can't seem to find the solution for this.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Picture to make it more clear:

Thanks in advance,

jerR.

"increasing draw distance" (object loading)

It loads more objects, but you need to have a good pc to. To much objects will cause lagg and it makes other objects load slower or not even visible/solid. (extreme object count)

Nothing you can do about it, just don't place to much objects at one place.

"some objects can't be made solid" (BUGS)

Gta is just client side, some gta objects are different with other players their objects. I have sometimes problems with race ramps, I drive trough them instead of jump over them. I don't know why but it is very annoying.

I am a mapper even bevore the map editor was created, I scripted my maps. And I know a few more things about object bugs.

If you want to know more just pm me, greetings IIYAMA.

The race ramp issue is a known issue.

It has to do with replacing cols in the GTA engine...

If you unload maps with .col data, you need to reset that replaced .col data first.

The "disappearing object" problem may be due to the MTA streamer. Try to "run backward" until the objects faded out, and run back in again.
