Perfect
Hi All , MTA is upgrading and many players are coming which means many languages coming . Some players can't understand they languages for example :- josh who from russia and he speak russian because he don't know English and another player who name's jack who from U.S.A who speak english and he don't know russia . Then how he understand they languages ? I have Idea When Russian player type to english player then text convert to english if english player to russian then russian In Settings we need language bar for choice our language . If this idea is not good then in easy form we need google translator I know this is so stupid suggestion but i need this because i only can understand english , hindi and urdu Sorry for bad english but pls try to understand Link to comment
Cadu12
You can do with script (LUA). Link to comment
diegofkda
Exactly. Do it with Lua because MTA chatbox was made for everyone, not for English speakers only. Link to comment
Perfect
1) I don't know Script and I not have time to learn on it (I learn on summer holiday's) and I wish anybody make that 2) I know mta chat box for everyone , I think you not understand what i said . for example :- Josh speak and he don't know english and jack speak english and he don't know russian then when Josh :- Hola Translate this to english Josh :- hi Jack :- hi ? --Translate this to Russian Jack :- Hola Now you understand ? Pls anyone make this script!! Link to comment
diegofkda
I understood very well since I read this. It's just that MTA chat box isn't for English speakers only, so it wouldn't translate things to English and Russian only. Also, 'hola' is a Spanish word. Have in mind that a translator requires hard work to be compatible with all languages and for a good grammar, that would increase MTA SA size a lot, and actually a translator is a very minor thing. If you want to talk with an English speaker, it's simple, learn English. If we could do it, you will be able to do that too. Link to comment
Perfect
Hey , hey , hey I not say only english and russian i mean all languages and i don't know russian . i use russian for example andI know English very well but i don't know other languages . if i don't then i learn to all ? that's not possible I an from india and i know hindi . i also know you don't know hindi . if i say to you learn hindi . then you say the language is not important only english is important . I mean some players want to say some thing but he don't know english the players say in they language how do we understand their languages only this problem i have . and sorry mta for give stupid no sense idea Link to comment
diegofkda
English is the universal language. If you want to talk with someone who doesn't know your language then he must learn English. Also, I already told you that would require too much work for something minor, also a translator doesn't have a very good grammar. Link to comment
Perfect
Ok ,But you say that possible with LUA then can you make it and share with community pls . If you can't then Ok Link to comment
ChaseOquinn
Scripting isnt the answer for everything. I've seen a lot of people just tell the OP to script it. Dont get me wrong the scripting system is very good in MTA, but its not the answer to everything. This suggestion is nice but its just not worth the time it would take to implement something like this. Link to comment
Perfect
Ok , If you can then do it . Link to comment
NeXTreme
A feature like a translator can easily be done via scripting. I made a translator myself that uses Google's translation service. I don't think this feature is necessary to be implemented in MTA. Link to comment
Castillo
Google's translation API is no longer free, so you can't really use this anymore. Link to comment
