Cadu12 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Hmm I never played SMB and IWBTG(Yes I watched in youtube and it was hard ) Edit: I forget to write I have to download IWBTG later.
AeroXbird Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This is very amusing, apart from the fact that i suck at it and cant even pass the darn tutorial Might want to get more music in this game, because one song being replayed the whole time gets on your nerves after a while.
12p Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Well, the normal levels (not the tutorial) have a looping Super Mario 64 "Road to Bowser" remix, made by Alisa "ellebirdy23". So, basically, I've got 2 songs for the game (you can check the "music" folder).
12p Posted February 21, 2012 Author Posted February 21, 2012 UPDATE: I'm almost finishing the game. Got 24/25 levels. The last one is gonna be a boss level. The networking system will be optimized and finished once I end the last level. Also, I've tweaked a bit the options system; now using "all shadows" options result in complete environment shading (no longer using the tileset to determine ground lightning ), there is a major difference between the graphic effects, and the sounds don't have volume anymore; they are just setup to be enabled or not. But music still has a volume option. I've determined that, even using the highest graphic levels, the game can still be played in an Intel Pentium IV computer (though it works at ~40/60 FPS). Also, I've written a bit more code for the tutorial. For those who die before finishing it, the game will respawn you in a specific section, depending on where you die. That way, you don't have to pass the whole room again to reach a point Here's a sample
