Doball Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 This is only a guess but I would suspect so, because it lets you chose what version you use in the Multi Theft Auto launcher, but the other people playing would have to have version 1.0 too. Wired were the eyes of a horse on a jet pilot, one that smiled when he flew over the bay!

cookievengeance Posted April 11, 2003 Posted April 11, 2003 What's the point of 1.1 anyway? It just lets you not run audio off the disc, while still keeping it so you have to have the disc in. You can lead a horse to water, but if you can get him to float on his back, you've got something.

ijsf Posted April 13, 2003 Posted April 13, 2003 There is a big difference between v1.0 and v1.1 in the memory coding, alot of addresses are different, but if there are not many changes ingame, and still alot of memory-address changing I suppose making support for Vice City would take some time for research. But I don't know anything about VC yet, so... btw how's my new avatar
