VCA v SM

Round one.

VCA starts at airport, sm at north point mall. We had the handicap of only 4 players versus SM who had 8! and had to lose one to compete, on GO GO GO we hastened to the rear of the icecream factory where we had previously decided to make our stand. We took up sniping position on the roofs and used the natural cover of billboards and walls well to pick off the enemy as they tried to find the way in, some noble warriors fell but we where killing 2 of them for every one of us that died. Then there where just 2 left, TE ( a late arrival for us) and sm-boss, TE had the fewer hp's and he fell, ending a very close round.

Round two.

Now starting positions where reversed, for some reason half of VCA went to the wrong place, then finally we where all at north point mall, some in cars, and one hunter and news chopper. I had said, 'To those who dont know location to head for, follow me!', all agreed. However when all where ready and the round began half the VCA people set off in all directions! Leaving only myself at the movie studios, (our planned place to hole up). Then realising their mistake and after much shouting from myself they began to head for the studios, loendal turned up first and helped to block the entrance but by this time SM where on their way. This lead to much confusion as to wether it was an enemy or a freind approaching, and unfortunately many teamkills took place. Resulting in a decisive victory for SM and a 'pay attention next time!' for my guys.

Round three.

Once again start positions reversed, after what seemed like an age waiting for SM to get their people all together at north point mall the round began, we rushed headlong to the ice cream factory once more and took up positions, SM had got crafty, and sent a 2 man helicopter to try and slice the VCA covering the rooftops, i was dodging the blades and emptying my m4 magazine into the vulnerable belly of the maverick when unfortunately dusty decided to throw a misplaced molotov at my feet, wether it was panic or a comment about my footwear i do not know, but the result was i was teamkilled and out of the round. All was not lost however, loendal, silentD and carstone began to pick off SM members one by one, carstone fell but he had weakened SM and it showed, finally it was down to 2 on each side, loendal and silentD for VCA, xenex and Stinger for SM, then disaster, having scared the 2 sm from the doorway of the malibu loendal decided to give chase, but the 2 fleeing enemy turned upon him and after a valient struggle his stubby shotgun rattled to the ground as he fell. All hope rested with silentD, in a hectic firefight silentd took out stinger! But silentD was badly injured and would die with the next hit or 2, and so there followed a long chase on foot, xenex firing wildly, silentD running for his life desperate to find a much needed health pickup. This went on for some minutes, silentD found health, but xenex took to a vehicle and attempted to run down silentD over and over to drain those last few life giving hitpoints, the sabre turbo screeched towards silentD and he leapt to one side to avoid it, but xenex had overdone it, he applied the brakes too late and sailed majestically into the water. Round 3 to VCA

Avery good match, despite the difficulty we had getting a full compliment of 7 players, SM for the most part where very sporting and no evidence of complaining or moaning other than boss repeatedly saying 'you killed me in like ONE SHOT, ONE SHOT!'

Congratulations SM, your organisation and numbers won it for you in the end

Ok here are some screenshots taken by me(SM xenex) during the match .

SM members in North Point Mall before the GO! sign was given(as you can see 1 member didn't get in the picture becuase he was behind me.

1st Round.

SM and VCA a the roof near ice cream factory as you can see SM was being attacked by flying molotv cocktails while SM was trtying to hide and find a good spot to take out VCA.

2nd Round.

3rd Round.

Me and SM-Stinger getting weapons in this turtle speed vehicle,to go and face the 2 remaining VCA members who were waiting for us in the malibu with heavy weapons.

What was bad is that in the 3rd round one VCA killed me,thus making me drop a Spaz with a load of ammo(I bet u guys rushed to it)

Correction MrBump. The last 2 were TE and myself. We both had full (or at least green) health when we first encountered each other. We were both cruising down the street near the front of the ice cream factory. Our cars collided and TE's caught on fire from damage. He quickly got out of it, and I drove far enough away to not be damaged from the blast. I quickly turned around to try and run him down. TE took out his m60 and after one or two hits with my car got enough rounds off to set my car ablaze. I got out and ran as fast as I could luckily unharmed. Then it was mono e mono. We were both struggling to shoot one another and still dodge with the added problem of ammunition loss. In the end I was circling around stationary TE (w/M60) shooting him with my tec9. VERY VERY close and TE finally fell. It was one of those battles where if you could have been there you would have appreciated the strategy of it like any popular spectator sport.

Good game VCP... was a pleasure I would love to repeat.
