setServerName()? What happened to it?

I just want to ask what happened to setServerName() function? it was so useful but now it has been deleted (I'm outdated so I don't know why).

Jasd1, once again, you don't know what are you talking about, there was a function to set the SERVER name, no map name i.e game type.

I believe that the reason of removal was that it would cause problems for hosts who force game servers to have branding, and this function would conflict with that. I suppose the only way to have it then would be if you could reload the config file without restarting the server, that would prevent the problem.

Yeah you liked to use that function to aggravate me and rename my server to some random name lol.

Arran answered your question, the function was removed to avoid conflicts with hosting companies.

What about mtaconfig parameter?

EDIT: Or make a parameter that sets the host name of the server, example if it is "[serverFFS]", so leave serverFFS to the final of the server name, for example "Default MTA Server [serverFFS]"
