Lukkaz
I got some interiors from the map editor just messing around and some of them you just fall through...there's no collision. Is there anyway to fix this? Link to comment
Oz.
Ideally you'd create a new collision file for it, and replace the old one with your new one. Alternatively you could maybe find small flat objects and place them just under the floor, just behind the walls etc, to simulate a proper collision. But the first option is the most effective. Moderators Citizen Posted May 15, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 15, 2011 Mmm and your interior id is good ? I mean that if you set the bad interior, you will fall through this interior ( and you can't see it ). If you see the interior but you fall through it, so do what Oz said. Link to comment
Lukkaz
how would I go about scripting collision? Link to comment
Oz.
https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/EngineLoadCOL https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/EngineReplaceCOL I guess you'd start there, maybe someone experienced in scripting can be more specific. The harder part is creating the COL, you'd need some basic 3D modelling skills and some modelling software (ideally 3DSMax or GMax) in order to do it properly. Link to comment
Xierra
And that is how Oz (or someone from DKR) made those interior fixes for the DKR server. But still, though first is the most effective, second is effective too, because they don't need to download the COL in order to play it. This is part of GTA SA's interior bugs. R* are lazy, aren't they? Link to comment
