Window mode + windows aero

Hi people

Since a couple of months i've got a new pc, which is fast enough for playing MTA with the windows Aero theme (unlike the previous one )

But, when i start MTA in windowed mode, it changes the theme to the basic one.

I don't want this, someone knows how to cancel this shit o,o

Try compatibility mode. Never tried it, but it could work.

no it isn't possible I think, mine has always turned off Aero. What do you need it for, though?

Windows probably detects that a specific application (GTA San Andreas) needs (all) GPU power.

Which it really shouldn't of course, being a rather old game! I heard from someone that one of the GTA:SA patches fixes this - does anyone know if that's true?

I'm sorry, but why the hell would you want to run aero and MTA windowed at the same time? Why do you want to significantly reduce performance with just some crappy eye candy?

Because Aero is useful? Stuff like aero peek is useful, and it shouldnt impact performance on a game like GTASA. It's odd that Aero + GTASA worked fine in Vista but not 7.
