Why should signatures be a huge adv space? You can just create a topic about your stuff and the people interested will definately find it

just few links to pages with all of your sripts, modes, maps, etc. will be better thing than tens of links in one sig

I agree. Just leave the character limit the same, but raise the links to, Idk, 7? It would still be limited in terms of the URL's characters, so they can't easily spam anyone.

On another forum I had multiple links going to a few of the most common error situations in my signature, and it helped users find their answers to their problems long before they even discovered technical support. Sometimes these situations can be very useful.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful. It's just a suggestion. It would be nice. I'd use it specifically for the reason I stated above, like I already am doing

Your signature is already huge enough for me to dislike it. Compare your signature size to your average post size. Reading the forum where 70% of the info is somebody's signatures doesnt look good

Better? My signature is usually what the average is on most forums. If there's a way to scale it without using up my remaining character count, let me know and I'll gladly do it. Unfortunately forum makers, when making the ability to limit the number of characters in a signature, tend to forget to add the option of not counting BB-Code tags against that number.
