Last night i played MTA VC with a mate but only one of us could get the Hunter Helicopter.....because theres only one........ive seen some posts about adding objects via the Main.scm but im not entirely sure whether this applies to the MTA version of the game or not.
petebog Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 You're right, it can be done by altering the main.scm. Do not alter the MTA main.scm as it will cause crashes when you play online aginst people with the official MTA main.scm. However, if you play on private server (e.g. passworded or only on your LAN) you should be OK as long as everyone else has a copy of the modified file.
Guest Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 ah thats what im after, i cant play on the net because im stuck with 56k modem but i often play on LAN with few mates so ill sort out the main.scm and give it to them. Thanks for your help!
Si|ent Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 Why can you not play online? I am also 56k and play for hours every day, often on american servers (im in the UK) with little noticable lag. Just steer clear of the larger servers, the 24 or 32 player ones.
