winson0228
Since MTA Race 1.1.2 doesnt work for me on Windows 7, i tried the current version of MTA Map Editor. I created some maps before i changed to Windows 7. It seems that the .map is different from 1.1.2, every folder has a .map file and a file called meta.xml. My question is, is it possible to convert Race 1.1.2 maps to Deathmatch 1.0.3? Link to comment
SirTerning
Indeed Use the mta converter by pressing on the link bellow http://files.mtasa.com/apps/1.0/raceconv.zip Every map will now have a meta.xml and .map file Enjoy Link to comment

Scarface
Unfortunately the converter doesn't convert rotations properly. To be honest, no known converter does. You'll have to open the map in the map editor and fix what you can. Link to comment
Zaya-Z
New MTA editor have many bugs. If you want to start a map on a MTA 1.0.x server all will be converted correctly. But if you open same map in MTA 1.0.x Editor you will not see Nitro/HP/vehicles Pickups, Spawnpoints will be without rotation. And if on your map some objects have coordinates 8000+, u will not be able to play it in new MTA (use mmove.exe in this case). And surprise. It is not true that MTA 1.1.2 dont works on Windows Vista/7. It works, but only MTA 1.1.2(1) Editor and you have to rename client.dll to client1.dll in [MTA San Andreas\mods\race]. And when you will installing both MTA, dont forget to rename Install Folder of one of them. Good Luck Link to comment
Faw[Ful]
Strange this map converter work 100 % for me, better than the MTA 1.x map editor , because some time you have just one checkpoint or the car have a strange rotation and you cant give a respawn time for example a race pick up, in the old MTA race editor you can do this so the converter convert the respawn time of race pick up its nice. Try to download it on the wiki Link to comment
