How to make a server online? (linksys router)

Hi guys!

I have a little question (Maybe a stupid question and idk where to put this topic), what should I do to make my server online to public?

I really need help for this one and I'm using Linksys Router.

Check your mtaserver.conf. Look what ports you need. (look for and )

Assuming these values:

serverport: 22003

httpport: 22005

Your first state of business would be looking what ports you require:

Server port (22003) UDP

HTTP port (22005) TCP

ASE port (???) UDP <-- Server browser

So the only thing we lack is the server browser port. But actually, we don't lack it. As the mtaserver.conf says:

There we go. Now we know what ports we need:

22003 UDP

22005 TCP

22126 UDP

Now you just need to portforward your router and done. At least, you still need to wait a couple of hours until game-monitor registers your server in the server list, but after that everyone should be able to connect. Enjoy I guess.

Again: couple of hours at least one day (24h).

This is not to say you can't get lucky and have it picked up in an hour, but GM is very variable. Sometimes, it's ridiculously slow, other times it's almost acceptable. Don't give up before 24h.

my server is usually picked up after 1-4 hours, it really differs from case to case.
