Beginners tutorial please

Hi, Im new to the whole MTA thing (I used SAMP), and im tryin to make a little simple server on my comp just to see how is it. I made the most simple map i could think of - surround the hood with fences and every one fights. Sounds simple isnt it? Well, I have no idea of how to test it OR to make it go... There seems to be NO beginners tutorial in the whole internet, they are all made for people who know the map editor and want to make very complicated scripts... I tryed to save the map and run it, but it started without weapons and in another location. I tried to put it only with deathmatch mod, and then my computer had problem downloading 38 KB from itself(!). HOH DO I MAKE IT WORK? Please?

I made a map, put a deathmatch mod and definitions in it (default). Now, click "Host server" and put only my map in the list and press ok. It says "Connected" and only a black screen. What now?

I think the Host Server is a little broken. Find your server directory (it's in the same directory as your MTA installation) and start the server from there.

But then i cant put my mod in it...

it will be there if you didnt move it from the folder it was created in, you just need to use "/gamemode mode map" (or if you havent set youself up as an admin a simple "/votemap mode map" will do the job too)

1. When I double click the "MTA Server" file it opens a DOS window and i have a server that i can enter through MTA, but how do i make myself admin?

2. I still cant change the mode... Where do i write it?

After I made myself admin i put the command and it puts me in a random place and i die immediately, How do i make a spawn point?
