Thehookerkiller01
Hey, is it possible to make an in-game webbrowser? Like for msn and forum checking in-game. And if it is, how.. Link to comment
DutchCaffeine
I don't really know but there is a way to connect to the internet. Maybe if you make an application in php, that can send the form data etc. to mta. Then there is a good possibility! http://development.mtasa.com/index.php?title=CallRemote Link to comment
Thehookerkiller01
Yes, or just Internet Explorer or Firefox in MTA. Link to comment
MTA Team jhxp Posted June 28, 2009 MTA Team Share Posted June 28, 2009 It's totally pointless to make a dedicated one for MTASA - waste of time. If you really need it - get Xfire. Link to comment
Thehookerkiller01
I don't want to minimalize my MTA:SA for checking a website. Because when I open MTA:SA after that, it crashes. Link to comment
robhol
bugs.mtasa.com Don't waste your time reporting it if it's DP2 though. Link to comment
50p
Come one people. MTA is made to play and enjoy the time playing it, not to browse internet. This is totally useless to make a web browser in a game... It's like making video player in Microsoft Word Link to comment
Thehookerkiller01
If you have full screen word, that would be handly. I want the webbrowser, that people easily can check some news at the website, because when they minimalize MTA, they just can't talk about it. Link to comment

Seriously, ALT+TAB isn't that hard, and if that doesn't work now, first, maybe it will in 1.0, second, starting MTA again takes 10 seconds in 1.0 with those horrible nVidia and EAX logos out of the way. MTA Team jhxp Posted June 29, 2009 MTA Team Share Posted June 29, 2009 Like I said, want to have an ingame webbrowser? get Xfire. Link to comment
Thehookerkiller01
And to do it with scripting... Wait, just something like you can add information with your browser (IE, FF), and then you can look at it in-game. Is this possible? Link to comment
Pinda
Jep there already is one. get Xfire. and press CTRL+X (or wazevah your hotkey is) to go to the ingame browser so you dont have to minimize your GTA/MTA Game. Link to comment
Thehookerkiller01
No, I can't do that, because I want to show an announcement from the website to everyone in-game. Link to comment
