0 GodFather Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Damn MTA team! I don't get why to keep this like a secret. No point doing MTA IV anymore because GTA V is comming. So better prepare for that! And one more thing, MTA seems have a lot of secrets.
0 12p Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 And one more thing, MTA seems have a lot of secrets. THIS IS U.S.A!!! :abdomen-kick: Rockstar Games do the same thing.
0 AGENT_STEELMEAT Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 If the MTA team where to develop the Orange core, and have it ready for GTA:V shortly (within 3-4 months) after it's PC debut, MTA's popularity would SKYROCKET.

I agree. If Orange is seriously under development, skip over IV and start revising it for V once it comes out. IV's "new engine" obviously made overall development of a multiplayer mod more difficult, but if V is using the same or very similar engine which it appears to be, the Orange code if it's developed at all would only need to be adapted and finished to fit it. Plus I hear IV's PC port is bad to begin with, perhaps it would be better to skip IV if V has a better port.
