Fenix1042 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) Quick Reload V2.0.1 Changelog: - Bug fixes for certain weapons V2.0 Changelog: - Weapons no longer automatically reload at 0 ammo - Weapons without clips no longer require reloads(e.g: shotgun) - Reload will now fail/cancel if you fall while reloading Special Thanks: Talidan & MTA Team - for going to the trouble of adding the ammoInClip variable and continued work on MTA 50p - Advice, testing, ideas & general helpful guy Description Normally in GTA:SA you can only reload once your clip has ran out. This script allows users to reload by pressing R at any time in the clip, then the player will see an animation and their weapon will be reloaded, then they can fire once again. If they wish to bind another key they can do so by binding a key to /reload which also reloads their weapon. Currently works on all weapons which use bullets. I've been waiting for something like this for a while now...
Lordy Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 However you can just change your weapon with the scroll and change back too and it's reloaded. But it's a nice idea tho..
darkdreamingdan Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Yeah, its a shame about the weapon switch reload. That said, i've always wanted a setPlayerAmmoInClip. That way script could force how many bullets left in the clip so quick switching wont work.

darkdreamingdan Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... WeaponAmmo update your script! Just bear in mind its serverside so it wont be the fastest thing ever, but still!
Fenix1042 Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks alot Talidan! Working on an updated version now, and I'm glad to see my script influenced something within MTA itself
Fenix1042 Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Released V2.0, original thread updated.
darkdreamingdan Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 It would be nice if this resource used a public setting (using the settings system) for the reload key. For gamemodes that already bind R for other functions, they could use the settings system to change the used key.

Gamesnert Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 A big chunk of text. Please don't quote posts that are just huge... Don't works. Because it's made for MTA 1.0...
