Lighter
When i connect to a server and come near to 10-Server's Player Limit, I start lagging every 3 seconds.I can't play well, that's why I stay on SA-MP and people were saying:"SCREW MTA IT LAGS HARD" and everyone else agreed. So I was just wondering, if there are any solutions, please? I don't understand. Is it objects problem, because in SA-Mp there are lots of objects and don't lag. My specs are fine, internet connection is fine. Link to comment

Well, I think MTA does lag faster with a larger amount of objects. Might have something to do with the dramatically better synch? Or maybe because there are more options or something? IDK... DiSaMe
Maybe scripting a good server-side objects streamer would help Link to comment
Mr.Hankey
Object streaming is already hardcoded in mta. Link to comment
DiSaMe
Object streaming is already hardcoded in mta. Only for GTA SA. Because of game limits. MTA client still keeps information about them. Otherwise there wouldn't be function that checks if element is streamed in. But I have an idea. Map file could be put into server as a downloadable file. And some script could put them client-side. Then nothing would need to be transfered between client and server. But this would only work good with objects that aren't moved, rotated, etc. Link to comment

But the main question remains: Does it really work? Someone knows the answer? Link to comment
Dark Dragon
never had any problems with many objects the good vehicle sync could cause the traffic http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=oOJeyGBg13I Link to comment
Gamesnert
never had any problems with many objectsthe good vehicle sync could cause the traffic http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=oOJeyGBg13I Might be the prob. But is it the problem that MTA sucks up bandwidth? There should be a scripting command for seeing it. Or is there one already? Otherwise, it might just be that a huge amount of objects might be the problem. Maybe it's possible to optimize it later on. In the meantime, you might need to set draw distance lower. Someone on my server (which is now private, for technical reasons) reduced the lag by doing that. Because we were placing a lot of cars! Link to comment
Dark Dragon
as i said before, i never had any problems, it was just an idea for a possible reason. Link to comment
