KillFrenzy Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I've found a bug with driveby's. You cannot driveby at all if you have no TEC9, MAC10, or MP5 (slot 4 weapons). You cannot driveby with any other weapon (like pistols) if you do not hold a slot 4 weapon. I'm sure of this and I've tested it. Oh, one other thing.. all skins make CJ sounds, so girl skins will make manly sounds
Motorhead Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Another bug: when you are in a car as a passenger and shooting, if you try to 'get in the car', the aim goes away but the ped is still 'outside' car.

Oh, one other thing.. all skins make CJ sounds, so girl skins will make manly sounds I don't know about the driveby thing but the all skin CJ thing isn't a bug, it's just something the team hasn't synced or made the effort to work it yet. Not that hard to fix though.
Stevvo Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I can confirm the drivbye bug. Steps to reproduce: Change the wepon slot in the drivebye resource included with the server to slot 3, and try to driveby with a slot 3 weapon, it will not work.
KillFrenzy Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Yep thats right, except I didn't have the driveby resource running. Just spray all your ammo out of the slot 4 gun (TEC9, MAC10, or MP5) and you can no longer driveby with your other guns.
darkdreamingdan Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 This is known, and is GTA's own fault. You're not meant to be able to driveby without an uzi present. You can work around this by giving an uzi and switching weapon slots yourself, and removing the uzi upon exit appropriately.
