zion Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 If you have Pirate copy it wont start. And it can be a error on your computer, Anti virus blocking the line or whatever. It can simpely an error in the Gta San Andreas file. Btw when did ou buy your Gta San Andreas cd?
[SKC]Whiskey Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Dude, it doesnt matter wether u have a pirated version or not. 90% of the people play MTA with a pirated version. Can u play GTA? If so i would guess its your firewall thats blocking it, but i must say i have never seen that black screen before. Very strange indeed...

erorr404 Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Use the original .exe and tell us if it works. Also try deleting or moving the gta-sa.set file in your GTA folder under My Documents and start MTA (deleting the .set file will reset your game options).
aaronson2012 Posted June 11, 2007 Author Posted June 11, 2007 well i have 2.0 and i just downloaded 1.0 and the downgrader on this page will not work the same thing just happens no deleting the . set file does not work AND i tryed turning off my firewall and it did not work to but maybe someone could help get the down grader to work

Just see this flash game at http://alexfinker.com/m/index.phpHey i've got that same problem. after the rockstar logo the screen just goes black and nothing can be done. alt+f4 doesn't work, alt+tab kinda works - you still see a black screen but you can also see the pointer flashing when it goes over a link and the only way to kill mta is use alt+ctrl+delete. what can i do to fix it?
