sound goes in and out

hi when im playing my sound will sometimes go in and out the radio is still on and i can hear it but the car sounds sometimes work then shut off then work again its weird any solutions my sound card is updated so any help[ please...oh yeah is it just mta that does it?

well ill tell ya i get that alot, ill be able to hear the police radio as well as car radios, but my sound effects (horns tire screetch or anything) all are completely silent, i deal with it by restarting MTA, and im sure the problem is to do with SA itself, because SAMP and single player do it as well, so if anyone knows a permanent fix it would be great

It's an issue with GTA engine, yes. It occurs mostly when there is a heavy storm. 2.0 fixes that glitch, but as we know, it's not modable :

perhaps u coders out there can figure out what 2.0 did to fix it and then make a patch for MTA

Try lowering audio hardware acceleration.
