I dont usually need help but ive ran outta options

everytime i try to start MTA it says gta_sa has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. ive tried reinstalling mta and i tried reinstalling gtasa and i even tried ajusting the codes to sync up but nothing. im ready to kill my comp can someone give me a hand? ( at fixin my game not killin my comp lol)

try going to my documents and into gta san andreas user files then delete gta_sa.set (maybe just gta_sa) then run it again....its the user settings file and will rebuild on restart of the game...any custom settings need re-setting tho

Any mods installed? It must be a totally clean install.

Is the gta-sa.exe original and 1.0?

hey how can u know what version u got like 1.0?And is it possible to know if you got mods cause i get same error?

I think it says v2.0 on the box if you have that. Otherwise it should be 1.0. You know you don't have any mods if you have never installed any.

yes i have v1.0, its was a clean install its legal the only mod i had was hot coffee and i even removed that and still no go

ok i know i got 1.0 cause when i tried installnig patch it said i already got 1.01 or something like that i can figuere out why i just reinstalled my game so it clean i install mta:sa 1.0 and i get that error.I install 1.1.1 and i get error only mta:sa version 1.0 is supported.
