even my old mx440 could handle the motion blur well enough

have you ever played it on a old integrated graphics card? Then you'll understand.

hmm, you know what geforce mx440 is?

it is a graphics card made by Nvidia,

anyways, back on topic.

What do you think lil Toady, what do you think?

mx440 is one of the most "hard to fuck up" cards. I overclocked mine and then removed the fan. It was running perfectly. mx440 ftw.

I fail to see why people think the mx440 is great, its basicly a overclocked geforce 2, completly false advertising, and nowdays the tech thats in a g2 is OLD

Anyhow back to topic, Motion blur was in singplayer, there is no good reason to remove it, this is rather trivial IMO

With my mx440 I never got a frame rate higher than 5fps, and don't even think about using it in the final mission: smoke everywhere!

It's probably because I never overclocked it, and I had a pretty pathetic processor/motherboard set up.

The modified effects files are working with mta (mta only check the gameplay files like the handling, weapon.dat, gta3.img etc) so you can change them if some effects are really making your game slow...
