MTA 32 fps!? Going too fast

Well im a heavy mta user, on my facourite server all the time

but ive recently bought a conroe and overclocked it to 3.4ghz, now mta is running at 32fps and im driving a LOT faster than everyone else, making it very unfair to play

So how can i limit it back to 25fps without turning my overclock down?

First of all, thanks for admitting you have this problem and not using it to your advantage.

Secondly, a very similar issue has been addressed with the dual core AMD processors where the game would run 'super-fast'. The issue is fixed by installing the dual core optimizer drivers from the AMD website. I'm not sure if Intel have the same, but you could certainly try looking on their site to see.

Just set the affinity in task manager(so the app uses only one core).
