Guest
ok now i have a new problem. i fixed what was wrong with my game so i can play it normally now but it involved getting a new .exe file so when i try to use the patch from the link you gave me it says my .exe is an unknown version. is it possible to keep the new .exe file and play mta Link to comment
Jani
You can only patch the original exe, not ones that you have downloaded from the Internet. Link to comment

Jani
Do you have the GTASA DVD? If so, just install the game and then run the downgrade patch, it will work fine. Link to comment

Ravenheart
Maybe you have some version of GTA SA which the downgrader does not support(clickteam......), get the .exe from a friend who has the proper version for MTA. Link to comment
Brophy
get the .exe from a friend who has the proper version for MTA. GTA Link to comment

Ravenheart
Yes the downgrader will patch your version to v1, if you are using a no-cd(dvd?) crack then you would need to find the original .exe. Link to comment

erorr404
Ah right, Brophy did say that, Ravenheart didn't. Anyway follow his advice and tell us if it worked. Make a backup of your original gta-sa.exe before applying the patch though. Link to comment
