Guest Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 everytime i start up gta sa the single player nuthin comes up but this send error report. and when i use mta (stop playing with urself ) it says could not start gta sa.try restaring then i did and when i click it again it still says that. I REALLY NEED HELP I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME BADLY! my gta is version 2
erorr404 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 It doesn't work with version 2, look for a downgrade patch (sticky at the top of this forum).

erorr404 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Well then I hope you backed up your original .exe. Was your old .exe cracked? The patch only supports original .exe's.

Jani Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Are you using a legitimate copy of GTA San Andreas or not? If you have downloaded the game, the patcher won't work on it because you have an ILLEGAL VERSION.
CoZ Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 try deinstalling and reinstalling from the first screenshot i can tell something is not right there are only a few things in the rockstar directory and a folder "square square square square square square square square square square square square square square square square !!!! " instead of what i expect ., anim , audio, data, models etcetc
