Guest Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I tried to uninstall MTA (last game played was SP), now GTA doesn't work. Could you tell me which files that have been modified so that i can replace/repair them (do a "manual" uninstall)? I don't want to f*ck up my mods and stuff. And some other q:s.. Will it be possible to use SOCKS Proxy to connect in future versions? (I'm behind a firewall/proxy). Thanxx!
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted June 5, 2003 MTA Team Posted June 5, 2003 i'll try to build an un installer this evening
me Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 there already is one... sorta. add & remove programs... (heeheehee! I actually told blokker something! I actually told blokker something!)
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted June 5, 2003 MTA Team Posted June 5, 2003 indeed but the uninstaller doesn't place the old files back
me Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 oh. ya. damn! I felt like I was king of the world for a bit there!
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted June 5, 2003 MTA Team Posted June 5, 2003 got it, i think http://www.multitheftauto.com/downloads.php?file_id=18
Guest Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 Well, I -did- use the uninstaller.. Which did not work ofcourse (that's why i started this thread). But anyway, the "problem" is solved... I reinstalled GTA3 and everything else.. Now I have an original GTA3 folder, and one called "GTA3 Modified"
Warlord Archon Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 That would be the best thing to do in this case. Just create another folder to put a "modified' GTA3 game in for mods and stuff.
Mr.Bill Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 I did that, but then I had 64mb left on a 80mgig hard drive, so I had to delete a FEW things
me Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 mr. bill, how many gigs of pr0n DO you have on there!? couldn't resist
Mr.Bill Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 hey now, thats just mean (and almost sadly true ) jk get back on topic you guys
