How do i change map on my server?

I have setup a server and it works but how do i change map on it? What is the command and how am i suppose to know what type of map it is?

I want to put a cops and robbers type map on.

I tried "startrace" command but i dont know any names of races so i went into the maps folder and tried to copy a name from there but it said invalid race name.

Where can i get a list of race names and find out what type it is?

you can get a list with maps or races

and you start a race (rcon logged in) with rcon_startrace racename

and you can call a vote with vote map racename

and ofcourse you have to replace "racename" with the actual name of a map.

I am trying to use the remote admin, i have set the password and i have set to allow it to "1" in the config. I have added the port 44003 to my firewall but when i try to login it says connection timed out. I can connect to the server fine and so can other people.

In the remote admin it asked me for a username and i do not know the username. For the port do i put in 44003?

The username is the username you set in the config.

I used the port 44003 because thats the one in my adminport config and i added a line with:

Bidybag password 5

Then i tried to login with the remote admin but i get connection timed out. I have added 44003 to my firewall allow list.

Rcon and remote admin are different things. You don't need a username for remote admin.

if you want to change map ingame

as player :

with typing: /vote map mapname

with console(f8 ): vote map mapname

as admin ingame

do rcon_login password .. make sure you are the same nick as specified in mtaserver.conf

then rcon startrace mapname

as admin offgame

use remote admin (connect at IP localhost if its same compu)

use same rcon login as specified in mtaserver.conf and use the change race dropbox and button
