gta_sa.exe cannot be found... where the hell is it??

when all the installation is done, a "browse for folder" comes up and it says to select my Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Installation Directory. I was wondering if you have to download the actual gta sa game to use mta sa. and when i click on a folder like my documents, it says "could not find gta_sa.exe at the path you have selected. Choose another folder?" can someone help out

becouse you need GTASA installed on your pc. and then browse to your correct folder, where it's installed. I'ts a mod... and mods without needing the game where it's built on, barely exist.

MTA is a modification for the game and therefore requires the original. Modification is even a wrong name for it since we do not modify any file from the game, it's more like an add-on.

yeh... i have the same problem (almost them) i really lkie the MTA staff and their work , but one prob... i'çant play the game over internet cause i must install patch 1.01 and if i try to install it says ''old file not found'' what must i do !!! i want to play gta Sa online please ppl help me

aight thanks, ima noob at pc games, my ps2 san andreas broke and i heard about sa online and i felt like i was in the twilight zone and had to check it out. haha anyways thanks

wtf i got the game, and now when i put the cd in my computer, the cd wont autoplay to install. and when i click on my computer - dvd drive, it says to insert a cd. how do you fix that??

update your dvd player firmware

As far as I know, GTASA only comes on DVD, you need a DVDROM to be able to read the disc.
