So im having trouble with this mission, No matter at what height I am flying or how close I am, I can never catch the bloody plane, I turn quickly but it's just too fast, How do you catch it?

try starting at a higher position. you go a bit faster if you decline. line yourself up, then try not to turn too much while trying to catch up.

At one time I swear I went thru the red ring, But for some reason the game didn't registered it.
