Guest Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 i reformatted my computer and still when i start Vc it disconnects me saying suspected trainer and thats nonsense, i think that the trainer dectection is too sensible and even stupid in a way. i reinstalled mta 20 times and no luck, i hope the 0.5.1 will be better
Jani Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 0.5.1 doesn't exist and probably never will, since the development of MTA for Vice City has ceased and all effort is now going into MTA for San Andreas. Yes the anti-cheat methods for 0.5 are aggressive, and even then it only stops 5% of cheaters. You should be aware that the method 0.5 anticheat uses is to scan the local memory for any of the blacklisted words (such as hack, trainer etc) and if it finds any of them within the running processes, it won't let you play. This can be caused by one of your MSN contacts having "cheat" in their screen name, or you having a web browser with "imageshack" open, etc.

NapsK Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Also if you're playing songs with Winamp or programs like that, it still disconnects you because it thinks you cheat.. rofl
Jumba' Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Yes Winamp let's you disconnect.. That just plain SUCKS
Guest Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Why have them check for cheats, trainers, or w/e. Someone made a mta client that lets you cheat so reallly...The only thing you can do is when you see a cheater..BAN THEM. Xtreme-Xc0de
