We've haven't announced how this will work - obviously the same features will be there, but the method of access will change substantially. Obviously a framework if well designed could hide any changes from the framework's users - just please keep this in mind when you're developing it! I personally think Java is well suited to this kind of task - one issue MTAMA has is that it is forced to run on windows (or through wine on linux) and as most servers run on linux this isn't ideal...
