trx Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 Yes, you can. Just start a dedicated server on a dedicated machine and join the IP of that server. If you only have two computers, and you want one computer to be the host AND the client, try entering the IP 127.0.0.1 for that machine. It should join itself, though I have never tested it, so it might not work after all. Link to comment
Guest Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 Thank you!. I gone give it a try. I have 3 cpu, but the Amd still wating 4 a new RAM memory. So when i have all 3 cpu i just start a server and joing whit the 2 . Lets hope it works whit 2 cpu even. Link to comment

I use all seeing, klickt on the server, joind, but... . Lets hope a fix coming son so we can enjoy this fine mode on a LAN game to. Link to comment

me Posted June 1, 2003 Share Posted June 1, 2003 that's a big problem... the only fix I know of is to disconnect and reconnect... (leave GTA3 open), but you've aready tried it... Look at your 'data stream' thing.. or something like that, forget what it's called, and check to see if it's frozen at a number... if it is, disconnect, reconnect.... oh ya... do any messages appear saying: Connection found, ping received or does it just sit at 'waiting for request'? If it sits at 'waiting for request', then for some reason, you appear to be incapable of connecting to your own server Link to comment
