Guest Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Sorry, I guess maybe I didn't delve deep enough in the months prior to the client release, but I had high hopes that it would be compatible for v2.0. You have no idea how hard it was for me to find the v1.0 one when I was shopping for it, but ended up buying the 2.0 so I could play. But I guess I will have to wait for the compatible version to come out...
Brophy Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 i doubt it will ever be compatible with the second version of san andreas
orappa Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Version 2.0 has protection against modification so it's very difficult (if it's even possible) to get MTA:SA working with it. Why did Rockstar resort to this? They removed the Hot Coffee code in v1.01.
Lággy Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I had high hopes that it would be compatible for v2.0 F@#$! Looks like I'll have to find SA (1.0) 2nd hand. It better be cheap on eBay...
Kent747 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 We do plan on looking into 2.0 support, however, we wanted to get the release out ASAP, we will be spending time in the future analyzing other versions of SA and how much effort would be involved for us to support it. Kent
Guest Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Ya, It stinks having version 2 of SA. But atleast you are going to try to get MTA support on it PS: instead of making it nearly mod-proof why didn't rockstar just get rid of the hot coffe file thingie
Slothman Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 here in the mta community we like our coffee hot enough to throw in the face of zealot would-be dictators. fight the cold coffee!
orappa Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 PS: instead of making it nearly mod-proof why didn't rockstar just get rid of the hot coffe file thingie They did in 1.01, so there was absolutely no reason to prevent modding in v2.0. Of course, someone could add nude player models to the game and create their own Hot Coffee mod, but you could do that in any game.
eAi Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Its almost tempting to start doing that, just to make a point. Could make a site like sexingames.com that has mods for every game out there that adds naked skins etc. Would make "hot coffee" look tame Back to MTA...
Guest Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 ROCKSTAR, GIVE US MTA, RELEASE A NEW VERSION OF GTA ROCKSTAR, GIVE US MTA, RELEASE A NEW VERSION OF GTA ROCKSTAR, GIVE US MTA, RELEASE A NEW VERSION OF GTA ROCKSTAR, GIVE US MTA, RELEASE A NEW VERSION OF GTA
bman212121 Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Here is my suggestion to ppl with v2.0. I have no clue whether this will work or not, but it may: If you get a no-cd patch that is for v1.0, you should be able to start the game just the same and it will come up as v1.0. Like I said, I am not sure how SA works entirely, but I know that in Vice all they patch did was change some code in the exe and none of the game files. All I can say is it is worth a go to see if that works or not. Disclaimer: Just remember that MTA can't guarentee anything with a no-cd patch, so your on your own if your game is patched. Figured I would throw that in there so a mod didn't have to.
Guest Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Im sorry if this is a stupid quesion, but where can I find a no-cd fix patch
Guest Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! THE NO-CD CRACK GOT IT FIXED!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Search it up. On google put in Grand theft Auto San andreas no cd fix.
Guest Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I found it, but its a RAR file. How to i swap it for the main EXE
erorr404 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 An .rar file like a .zip file, you must decompress it using WinRAR (http://www.rarlabs.com) and extract it, and let's get off the subject of no cd cracks..
orappa Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Yes, let's, otherwise I will be forced to lock this.
