minigunner Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 I can't creat a server myself, everytime when i click setup it says something like "System Error &H80070583 (-21407023485)" and i tried to delete the "MTAServerConfigTool.exe.manifest" and then i click setup it says "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" what should i do [/code] Link to comment

minigunner Posted January 3, 2006 Author Share Posted January 3, 2006 Well yeah but that doesn't help my last question which the warning appears AFTER i deleted the "MTAServerConfigTool.exe.manifest" file when i tried to enter the MTAServerConfigTool it self or click "setup server" in the client...... No I shouldn't think so, you only need to be an administrator with Windows 2000/XP when INSTALLING software, not running it. Check that you're not firewalled or behind a NAT/router, and if you are, make sure you open the game port and the game port + 123 through both. Link to comment
minigunner Posted January 5, 2006 Author Share Posted January 5, 2006 i am not the admin of this PC when i installed it myself (i am using XP) and MTA is running normal, besides the server setup, that is. This pc is at my home no NAT and i am not sure if the firewall does anything to it, but i CAN connect to servers and start playing Link to comment
