l2ebel
all info here: http://psp.ign.com/articles/655/655013p1.html theres 68 scrrens and 2 vids, its kinda weird to hear mobb deep in a gta trailer up to 6 players, incluses 7 gamemodes, i found interresting that they got pickups in there like for example a "mega damage" one or one that lets your radar blip be invisible for others and damn.. imo that ak in the first screen looks better then the ak's in any previous gta Link to comment
Ransom
it would be really funny if MTASA was so good it made their mp look bad Link to comment
Slothman
wow, that does indeed sound impressive...except for the 6 player limit. Can't help but think that the MTA community was a large part of the push towards multiplayer. We certainly proved that there is a demand. Link to comment
Ransom
mm yes if that is true it would have been more than enough if they woulda mentioned mta in the manual or on the back of the case Link to comment
l2ebel
mtavc.com isnt even on the links on R*'s site, other modding sites are tho Link to comment
erorr404
there is also a bit of info on the official site, showing three of the game modes: http://www.rockstargames.com/libertycit ... a_lcs.html edit: nvm, looks like two of them are covered in the IGN article. attack/defend gamemodes such as Protection Racket would be nice in future releases of MTA. Gamefreek
I believe there is a game mode in GTA3:MTA 0.5 just like Get Stretch. I could be wrong since i only played it a hand full of times Link to comment
erorr404
you're right, there's one where you steal enemy gang cars but i forgot exactly how it works. it would be better if it was forced though, so that everyone took part and actually set up positions defending their base and their cars. edit: anyways, yeah, the MTA team should be able to learn a lot from GTA:LCS multiplayer once it's released, not only as far as game modes go, but also character selection, rounds, spawns, weapon balance, etc. edit2: wow, i edited this more than 12 hours after it was posted and there's no "edited by ..." message.
