Something to record vid with.

Is there anything that i can record with thats free?

Fraps brings my fps from 80+ to 10 even on 800x600

and all that stuff.

OH and this vid will be for vc.

are you using the latest version of Fraps. 2.6.3 barely makes a difference when i play recording at 1024

You can always try Gamecam, but i think you still need Windows XP.

No what i meant was i still think that gamecam needs Windows XP. Some people still use older Windows Operating systems like Win2000 or 98. So i was just warning you incase you didnt have it.

32MB RAM (in addition to game requirements)

100% DirectX compliant hardware video accelerator with 32MB on board video memory or better

Ok i got 512mb ram and 64mb onoard and 2.4 ghz(wich are more than required).

Well if you get more than 15fps anyway it should record better than fraps would on your pc. I get around 45-50 frames while recording and 60 with it off.

One draw back to Gamecam is that any other directx hooks are disabled while using it. So that means no chat box or name tags while using it with MTA.
