Had this idea whilst posting in another topic, and didn't find much when searching. Basically, I know this will require the SDK because it's not something the team are going to integrate, but its sort of RPG/Racing career like Gran Turismo. You start off with say $500 to buy your first car. You get a slow and steady car like a Glendale. You take part in a few low-class races with other slow cars and win them. Each race you are rewarded some cash. Then you have enough to buy a new car, for example a Comet. You take part in races with other cars of similar speeds, and win more money etc (perhaps also charged an entry fee for each race). This goes on until you have one of the fastest cars (like a Banshee or Bullet), where there are championships and compositions, where you win loads of cash and cars etc. Eventually, you become the server champion, and others try to challenge you in competitions. Basically, it follows a Gran Turismo stroke RPG theme (without things like licenses) instead of just straight races over and over again. Like I said, it would need a lot of coding with the SDK once it's released, and I would be happy to attempt to contribute to it if somebody decided to take it up. It just makes the prospect of plain races with hardly any user-customizibility seem a bit more interesting.

Choosing between certain classes of cars (like Gran Turismo) would make it more interesting, especially if you end up doing the same race multiple times.

So'lide: that's on habbo hotel the whisper/shout thing (not that I play habbo hotel anymore) You could do something like the cross-server pm's with IRC scripts, because MTAMA connects to multiple servers, but like Crack said, you gotta know which server your friend is on.

If you have any windows open with things like "hack" "crack" etc in them, it thinks you are using a trainer. Even if you were playing a song for example "Love Shack" then it will still pick it up. Just make sure close as many windows as you can, and any suspicious programs.

Yeah, if you don't have the original GTA 3 exe (if you dont have the cd's it will be a no-cd exe file), then you need a 1.1 cd crack. Don't ask for it here though.

Indeed, I'm no stunter myself, and rarely play MTA anymore, but well-timed stunts on videos look very good.

Nobody can ever be 100% happy

Make sure you have ssh access on your shell account first. If you do, upload the server & config files needed, and log into your ssh account. Type to change to the directory where the .bin file for the server is stored.Then type (provided that is the name of the server file). Make sure you have the linux server, the .exe wont work.Then just connect with the scripts to the IP of your server.

All the commands are in GRS_MANUAL.TXT which you can get to by pressing the Readme button in the main window.

I suppose you're right, and for future releases when there is more customization options (ie the SDK) it could be used. But for now, I think "car pickups" as such, makes for fairer gameplay.

Make sure your firewall allows it, router isn't blocking it etc etc.. all the rest of it.

Well if you buy SA before MTA is released, you can make sure it works OK with your PC and get used to the controls and stuff.

Sounds to me like you meant there will be static cars parked around.. Deathmatch will probably take a while because if they're going to take as much care over eliminating bugs in that as they have the racemod, there's gonna be a hell of a lot more to keep track on.

I think xerox means for during the race, where you instantly change car at the checkpoint. The anims for DM would be better though.

NPC's (non-playable characters) like cops and swat team.

The just getting in the car thing was due to the animation of entering/exiting cars causing problems and crashes. It was just easier to skip the animation.
