Maybe this has been said before, its a very simple idea, but I used search and didn’t get anything similar, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so when u used the map (not the minimap, the full city map in the pause screen) mta would display the players name next to his/her little box, this would be a huge convenience and cut down all of the "where are u!?" crap.

  4. well, if I am alone on this fine, its a democracy and i can deal with that but i don’t see y throwing a pinch of realism into the mix would hurt, and for all the shit heads that say 1 hit vehicles kills ruin fighting on foot I would like to recommend that they try playing halo or ut2004, vehicles being a threat hardly ruin foot combat, they add a new level to it. For me, this would make the game better, and while I don’t ask you agree with me. I do think its ridiculous to call me a "poser" simply because I don’t think its right for someone to come away all but unscathed after being hit by a bus going 70.
  5. maybe im alone on this but i think that cars should do more damage when u hit a person who is walking, would it be possible to change this? at 70 miles and hour hitting someone should really be a one hit kill.
  6. I personally am all for any type of unique charater, as of now they are all the same. more unique chars would make it a much better mod.
  7. i know i am going to be bitched out for beating a dead horse but i feel i have something to say. I am in no way a authority on any of this and if iv said something that is wrong yell at me. In the past it has been said in past strings that the reason that traffic/peds cant being in mta (like they were in gta2 for example) is that in gta2 the framerate is locked and all players start the game at the same time, and in a game where people are joining and leaving constantly, with a constantly changing frame rate (MTA) you just cant sync up "NPCs" and this makes sense. BUT THIS CANT BE TRUE. Take Diablo 2 for example (or most MMORPGs), people join and leave constantly, frame rates change, but all the little monsters are synced up for all players. if it is possible in other games y cant it be possible in mta, maybe i am crazy.
  8. i am not suggesting a player be removed from he map, only the radar, the character would remain in the same spot motionless, and mortal, and the idea about it saying paused above his head is a good one. The reason i suggest this is when i get people down to 10 hp the pause the game to avoid dying. I suggest being removed from radar so that if a person say, had to eat dinner, he could just go hide there char in a corner and leave, if they don’t show up on radar they would be fairly safe. i think the fact that some people who are afk would be killed would be worth not ever being cheated out of a kill. I dont think the pauses over set time = boot is a good idea, when u get an aim it minimizes gta, witch pauses the game, people will get booted for no reason, plus oftem a person only has to pause once to avoid death.

I don’t know if this is possible, but I think it would be a lot better if when you paused the game instead of becoming immortal your character would just be removed from radar, if u took just s second to hide before u paused the chances of getting killed are very low. This would solve the problem with people pausing to avoid being killed.
