Should free-aiming for drivers be allowed in MTA:SA?
njr1489 replied to a topic in General discussion
That was actually the advantage of carkillers. MTA made it that the car wouldn't blow up, but only catch fire so they could run away. Its only fair that they allow explosions when shooting at cars. -
Actually he's been around here before, I think last year.
-
l0ngb0ng is at it again. Because of him, he just ruined the whole sa-mp network in one day.
-
As of now, the forums, the site and the sa-mp irc are down.
-
What I heard was that there was one part of the team working on blue, and one part of the team working on 0.5.5.
-
not very nice mr MP5 Well, that was about 0.5.5 updates, not updates in general.
-
That is what i'm saying, release that small patch with those fixed problems. Just fix those bugs and glitches, and then its fine.
-
I have 2 question. 1. What are NPCs 2. Do NPCs look like store managers or people in stores? They are peds.
-
It is possible to be synced in this core though. Jacob explained it before. I don't think the team will do it if there is a 0.5.5 though. Just wait for blue.

Flare, just because I like the work of another team doesn't mean I lost ALL hope for MTA. yea thats the point i m sure that eliminating the most basic bugs is a question of adding one line to the code (iex reset armor to 0 at every respawn..). it would take like 5mins for the mta team to release a patch and make this version a bit more fun and playable but heeeeeey... looks like they dont really care that much bout us, i used to be their fan but now after how they have treated us i really dont expect much.. i moved on to other things and am looking forward to realeses from other teams. still, you gotta give em credits for all that they have done but somewhere in the end i think they lost the point. the future is blue wonder how far is that Exactly. It would only take a small amount of time to fix this thing. As I have explained in my last post, the polls were only to see what other people think, and that it has no effect on what the MTA team should do. I think ransom's idea is fine. Just leave the gameplay the way it is, and just fix the desync and the crusader glitch. It only takes a small amount of time, and why not? This will also be good for people that still play 0.5
-
I don't play 0.5, and i'll bet not many people on the forums still do. But why would they scrap 0.5.5 in the first place? It sounds like 5 months since february that work has gone to waste. It seems like 0.5.5 could be a fast fix, since all it really needs is the m60 back to normal, the stubby back to normal(jumping no switch glitching), crusader glitch fixed, and the GTA 3 kill credit glitch. I would like to know how long that would take. 2 of them (stubby and M60), are an easy 5 minute fix the way it looks, and those other 2 can be fixed, its not impossible. I'll bet if this patch were to be made, it could be finished in a week. I would like to see a developer reply about this to give a clear explanation about what is happening with 0.5.5 though.
-
My point exactly. The MTA team has said it over and over, they aren't trying to compete with the other mods. Even if it was a competition what is there to win? Nothing Exactly. This seems like a space race. The first one out there wins. Wins what? Like gamefreek said in the other post, what happened to the part of the team that worked on blue, and the part of the team that worked on 0.5.5? I don't see how this could affect the progress of MTASA.
-
Well the poll was so I could see what others think.
-
0.5 has been out for about what, 5 months? We can admit that 0.5 is a version that many people don't like. Its ok to admit that you don't like 0.5 (if it is said properly). I can admit that I don't like it, and I think 0.5.5 should be concerned about. Many people want to play a good version, and all it takes is a patch to do so (0.5.5). Its great your giving more updates than usual, but 0.5.5 seems dead. Lets say it would take untill fall to finish MTASA. Who will be there to play it? Not many, because this current version isn't great. Many that don't like it and and will stop playing, and will eventually forget about MTA. Before releasing something great, there has to be something to get us ready for blue. This right now as I have explained in my last post is a lose-lose situation. Many people don't like 0.5, and the next version is not being focused on. MTASA won't be out for a while, and currently, this version failed, and gives a bad impression on MTA. Please focus on 0.5.5 more and give updates on it. No one is commanding, demanding, forcing, telling you to focus on 0.5, most of us are asking you. About the poll: It is only to see what others think.

There's more demand for San Andreas at the moment, so that will obviously be a priority. Thats not going to be good for gta 3 and vc. Its lose-lose IMO because many people do not like this version, and the patch to fix all this isn't being focused on. Its almost half a year this version was out, and I think it should get more focused on, so that people will start playing again.

heh, if draco did it, MTA can do it lol.

[MOD]GTATournament: online Multiplayer (GTA San Andreas)

Once a few bugs are fixed, (radar(can be fixed easily) sync, etc). I think the netcode needs some work to, or it must be the servers. Most servers I go to make me crash on the nvidia screen because someone is on my name, or the server's ports are closed or the server is offline. No one was on my name, and the server was online. -
I like the fast updates. It looks as if its halfway done already. That's pretty good for 20%.

lol lance is banned. Anyway, he would have posted that the GTAT San Andreas devshot is released. This means you can play SA online. http://dracoblue.gamehost.at/gtat/index ... e=Features That shows the features. http://gtat.org/server/index.php serverlist http://dracoblue.gamehost.at/gtat/downl ... .php?ID=19 Download the client http://dracoblue.gamehost.at/gtat/downl ... .php?ID=18 Download the server -
You aren't allowed to have a cracked version of MTA.
-
1) You will be able to mod your gameplay with blue. 2) I suggest you get someone you know to host a linux server for you, because you can't make a good server out of your home connection.
-
Its working fince for me.

BTW is there a mod that can enable all weapons to do drive bys, or can you just edit the weapon.dat file? I've seen cops drive by with a pistol before. Anyway, assualt rifles are too powerfull to be used on a drive by.
